The Mars lander photos finally started getting sent home yesterday, three months after it began it’s mission to document the north pole of Mars. It was a 422 million mile trip through space, but I really thing NASA scientists feel these pictures of Mars were well worth the trip. These photos from Mars lander are probably considered million, or maybe even billion dollar photos.

I wanted to display some photos here but there are not stock photos I could find on the Internet. I don’t like to use pictures that aren’t stock photos because you never know when you might get in trouble.

Of course the big question is “is there life on Mars” and truthfully they still really don’t know. I think it’s hard to swallow that there is, or ever was life on Mars. If there was something so close we’d probably know before we even went to Mars. Not finding anything at this point in the mission just really confirms that fact, but still these photos of Mars are beautiful and everyone should check them out today.

I guess the other great debate will be if these Mars lander photos are worth the money that was spent on the trip. I personally thing space exploration is great, and these photos from Mars are well worth any money spent. I hope that no one is dissuaded from spending money on future space exploration. If I had billions of dollars I’d use it to help out myself. We need to find some way to encourage private space exploration, and that could help us get more photos of space.
